There's much more variation these days too, with everything from gourmet food to vegan fastfood and healthfood. Completely vegan brunch buffet
In the middle of leafy Haga Park, the Radisson Blu Royal Park Hotel serves a vegan brunch each Sunday. Tuck into everything from marinated jackfruit to vegan sushi, coconut bacon and vegan mozzarella. Classic brunch dishes have been given a vegan makeover, try the vegan omelette or French toast.

Sustainable veggie food in castle surroundings
In October 2019, Åkeshofs Castle opened up its restaurant Råkoko, which serves brunch with vegetarian dishes with an emphasis on sustainability and locally-produced ingredients with Nordic flavours. The menu is seasonal and varies according to the small-scale producers they work with. Eat brunch in the castle's historic rococo surroundings.

Sustainable brunch with spectacular views
Sustainability is the watchword at Fotografiska's vegetarian brunch where a mini buffet is served to you at your table, to reduce food waste. Brunch includes a selection of cold starters, a main course of your choice, as well as bread and a discount on the exhibition admission price. All food is vegetarian, but you can order animal protein as a side dish if you like.

Vegan and gluten-friendly
At the healthfood café Fern & Fika in Hornstull, all their food is vegan and most of it is also raw and organic. On weekends they serve a plant-based brunch, serving vegan and gluten-free American pancakes with generous toppings such as fruit, chocolate, vegan cheese and other good things. Try out their smoothie bowls and rawfood cakes and pastries.

At Boulebar's branch in Liljeholmen they serve French brunch dishes to your table, in several generous rounds, culminating in coffee and a dessert table. Hermans has been a popular spot for vegetarians and vegans since the Nineties and their plant-based brunch buffet is perfect for anyone hungry and craving hearty vegetarian food. Their weekend buffet is extensive and well filled with everything from salads, hot dishes and soups to homemade bread and fresh fruit.

Plant-based soul food
If you want to eat vegan but still crave some really tasty soul food, Dirty Vegan is the place to go. You'll find hamburgers, mac and cheese, buffalo wings and kebabs on the menu - all made completely without animal products. Pair your meal with one of their cocktails or follow with a dessert. How about an ice cream cookie sandwich with peanut butter?
