French inspired Zink Grill, with restaurateur Peter Nordin in the lead, is a bit like a living room in the middle of Biblioteksgatan. It serves breakfast, lunch, dinner and after work in an environment lined with antique furniture from Lyon. Well known is of course also the char-grilled meat.
Zink Grill opened its doors for the first time in 2008 and is not least characterized by the restaurant's antique bistro furniture from France, including the red velvet sofas and the famous bar counter in zinc that has given the restaurant its name. With a total renovation in 2014, Zink today have an extended menu and more seatings. However, the feeling is the same; you will find whatever you are looking for whether it is a French breakfast, a hearty buffet dinner or a glass of wine just in time for afterwork.
Apart from the characteristic zinc bar, the charcoal grill is at the heart of the restaurant, just as the name suggests. Since its inception, the dry aged meat has been a showpiece of its own, and today it has also been joined by a larger selection of seafood and freshly harvested vegetables from the grill. After the renovation a unique salt rock from the Himalayas, which Zink Grill are alone in Sweden, have been introduced as steak plate when doing the grilling. Something that will assist in pulling out the natural flavors and give a special character.
For those who are only looking for a bar, the bar at Zink Grill is a destination in itself. Here you will find a cocktail menu that includes charcuterie, and weekends hang outs are accompanied by music & DJs.
