Incredibly good food! Nice place and fast service! Good outdoor seating as well and perfect location on Rörstrandsgatan. If you like Bengali and Indian flavours, go here 😊
Had a lunch here at 2:30 in the afternoon. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Ordered chicken tikka butter masala with garlic bread. My dish cost 99kr +25kr for the bread. Included mangolassi and coffee with food. If you can't be bothered to eat a whole bread, you can order a half.
The food was good, usually almost always order chicken tikka masala when I eat Indian. This time the food was not really hot, maybe it was because it was a late lunch?! The only downside. Love all shanti restaurants as it is affordable and good food compared to Indian garden. Recommended!

Mango Lassi, coriander dressing and green plants everywhere, of course I'm a fan!
Shanti Soft Corner has been my Indian place for a long time although the service makes me want to hit my head hard in a wall every time I'm there. That said, I didn't have such high expectations for my visit to Shanti Touch of Bengal.
Me and my company slipped in spontaneously at a lunch when we were both too hungry to think clearly and Indian always works. We were nicely treated as soon as we arrived and instructed to order at the bar. I am ridiculously impressionable when I get tipped off about food so I chose the vegetarian stew that was handwritten as today's tip. My company brought in Palek Paneer.
While we were waiting for the food, we took off the salad that was included and this is where I discovered the hot coriander dressing. If you like coriander, you will be happy and if you do not, then back off slowly from there. Mango Lassi is also included in the lunch and it was yummy sweet and tasty.
Barely ten minutes later we had the food on the table and it was just enough large portions of food. My vegetarian stew tasted a lot of cumin and had both beans and large pieces of broccoli. I like when there is still crisp in the vegetables and with extra coriander on top it made me happy. My company also liked their Palek Paneer.
The décor is so nicely relaxed with wood, newspaper clippings on the walls and a lot of green everywhere which creates a warm environment. The plants felt well-kept and it's an important thing to look at. Caring for plants suggests concern for their place.
I will definitely go back here if I am in the area and fancy good vegetarian food with a little different seasoning.

Like Shanti! Incredibly good, but sometimes it is a bit messy when you have booked a table. Last time we got there, they did not have the table we boket. The food and the atmosphere are very good.
A wonderful place with incredibly good food and cozy atmosphere! The service is not as good, stressed staff who serve errors sometimes, but they are very helpful if you point out this and the good food excuses this!
