En av de absolut bästa restauranger jag varit på. De satte varenda rätt både i smak och presentation. Servicen var heeeelt fantastisk och stämningen i lokalen var levande, men inte stökig. De borde ha 2 stjärnor.

Ekstedt är en Stockholms Michelinrestauranger och har självklart varit på min Att äta- lista läääänge.

Lokalen är trevlig. Känns lite som att Köpenhamn möter Norrland. Maten är både skandinavisk och modern utan att det känns klyschigt. Man känner att man har haft stor respekt för råvarorna såväl som hantverket. Här är det eld som står i centrum och det görs med perfekt feeling. Det blir aldrig för rökigt utan alldeles perfekt. Jag är riktigt imponerad över att man lagar allt utan el. Så häftigt!

Det var otroligt kul att man fick en eldshow i köket men det som tog mig med storm var den trevliga och kunniga personalen.

Egentligen var det en fantastisk upplevelse. Att de inte fick en femma av mig beror mest på att det var småsaker som inte satt lika fint som på tex Nour som också har en stjärna. Men nu är jag väldigt kräsen.

Och jag ska inte ljuga. Det hade varit kul att se Niklas eller Florencia i köket 😅

Uppdatering för besök 221216: Detta är en restaurang som jag återkommer till. Älskar att boka in ett besök här under vintern när det är som kallast ute. Den öppna elden som är hjärtat av restaurangen osar lugn och ro. Servicen var även denna gång helt fantastisk. Fortsatt satt meny som fortsätter att överraska samt klassiker som blir kvar. Detta är ett ställe där det inte är helt omöjligt att få bord nära inpå. Vilket idag känns som ett stort plus.

En upplevelse! Hamnade vid barbordet där man har utsikt in i köket och ser medan de lägger upp maten! Vilken precision och talang!

Man känner hettan från de öppna lågorna och förstår snabbt konceptet att laga mat över öppen eld! Fick hänga med på en rundtur in i köket, helt underbart!

Bra service och god mat! Rökigheten kommer fram. Samt de olika smakbomationerna så enkla men samtidigt så komplext!

Jag ger sällan ut femmor. Men Ekstedt är verkligen värd detta.

I en alldeles lagom stor lokal. Där en kunde känna att vi fick vårt ”privata” space samtidigt som det var många andra där.
Här serverades matkonst på mycket hög nivå. Så gott så en tystnar och ryggar tillbaka lite. Äter lite till och samma reaktion. En kan verkligen förstå varför kökschefen Florencia Abella är utsedd till Sveriges näst bästa kock 2021. Och i atmosfären av att en kan höra elden och ana röken.

Till det tog jag det alkoholfria dryckespaketet. Drycker de skapat själva, kambucha och juicer. Jag måste säga att de är väldigt bra matchade till rätterna. Och rekommenderar varmt.

Vi har tidigare vart med om långdragna sittningar på andra ställen, så vi bad om lite tempo i serveringarna. Även här levererade de. Ett snabbare tempo, men samtidigt med bra mellanrum mellan rätterna.
