Bistro Rigoletto is right next door to the classic Rigoletto cinema on Kungsgatan and it's run by the Ahlbom family of restaurateurs. Drop by for a drink or spend the whole evening here, enjoyed French-inspired food and drinks in bistro surroundings.
Inspiration comes from Fifties Paris in the form of exclusive interiors in tones of red, black and gold, as well as the bistro menu and generous opening hours.
Bistro Rigoletto's menu includes La Moulerie, a section from which you can compose a portion of mussels and accompaniments according to your taste and hunger level. Ten different kinds of mussels are served with flavours from all over the world, including moules thai and moules cadiz with chorizo. Other typical dishes include escargots provençale and bouillabaisse, while dessert options include truffles, cheeses, macarons and eclairs.
The brass-clad bar, one of Stockholm's first gin bars, serves quick meals on the go, along with classic thirst-quenchers and exciting cocktails. As well as the 100 covers in the dining room, there's also a VIP area upstairs within the cinema itself which can be booked for special occasions serving light food and drinks from the restaurant.
Naturally the cinema is open to everyone, including guests who aren't visiting the bistro. Rigoletto is one of the city's truly classic cinemas, with a balcony and beautiful decorative details, and they show all the major movies.
