Today's lunch was Oxrollers with onions and mustard in, thinly cut apple on and brown sauce and potato puree. And mmmm what good it was! They really take the flavors to a new level here and try the lunch if you are in the area!
To this we took a glass of red wine that was quite okay good. Not the tastiest thing I've ever had but went well with the food.
However, the service this time was not nearly as good as it usually is. We got a little annoyed when we got here. There is a sign in the doorway that says that you should wait for the head wait which we did. But no one came... several waiters and waitresses walked past us and did not turn up their eyes at all, and would even guess that the head waiter was also one of them when extremely many walked by And said nothing. "No hello, have you been helped? Have you booked a table? I'm going to get the head waiter, "but more ignored us and our attempt to make eye contact with someone. People set the table even though it was already finished set and yes got a bit annoyed. We stood there for at least 15 minutes wondering what they were doing... we have both visited the place several times and this bad reception we have never received. I hope they were a one-time event, because that's something they're going to have to change. The rating is not lowered yet because of the service, but if it is the same next time, it is not okay. Because otherwise the place is on top!
Visit 1: New favorite! A hidden gem on the south right by Mariatorget! Have always thought it is bad with lunch places at Mariatorget, then I heard about this place and Wow! So amazingly nice and cozy. In an old built house from the 17th century with art on the walls, in the ceilings and in the interior. But it doesn't feel old. You walk up a flight of stairs and to the right was a smaller dining room and a bar. In the room, however, there was a door where people went in and out so think they are another room for diners there with. In the summer there should also be outdoor seating. I was there for lunch and they were home cooking with twist. The staff were very helpful and helpful. The food was really fantastic, in its simplicity. We took saithe fillet with white wine sauce, some cream with bacon in it, potatoes and sugar peas. Might sound simple but that really took it to a new level. The wine was good with the food and the waiters were nice. A better place to have lunch, would really recommend going there. Costs no more than having lunch elsewhere, and today's menu is available on the website. If you're going to eat at Mariatorget, this is where you're going!

At the conference with the job and from my perspective as a gluten intolerant in these times of "inclusion", I can only say that it was a disappointment that felt like a mockery when Van der Nootska languidly offered dry lousy gluten-free "crispbread" for the breakfast buffet and vegetarian protein-free mushroom risotto when colleagues ate Biff Lindström. Startlingly bad. Got to be Fläsknoisette in town that offered the whole buffet gluten-free!

Vi åt julbordet, mycket väl anpassat till nu gällande restriktioner. Bordsservering av rikligt fyllda tallrikar där smakerna utsökt kompletterade varandra. Flera rätter stack ut på nyskapat sätt. Vacker miljö och vänlig, tillmötesgående personal, som hade välmotiverade goda råd vid val av drycker. En fin kväll och vi återvänder gärna till van der Nootska.
