Kennys Gelato Sergelterrassen

Family-owned Kennys Gelato serves a wide selection of gelato made freshly every day. The counter includes everything from classic flavours such as pistachio and chocolate to more experimental flavours, and there are always vegan options and sorbets to cool you off in the summer heat. Kennys Gelato is run by master ice cream maker Kenny Mattson, who has won several prizes for his gelato, including Ice Cream Maker of the Year at the Swedish Ice Cream Championships in 2022. The following year, 2023, he sat on the jury.

After successful seasons at other branches they opened up their Sergelterrassen outlet in time for the 2023 ice cream season - on a rooftop terrace right in between Hötorget and Sergels torg. Enjoy the views over the city while you tuck into fresh gelato in all kinds of flavours. 

Every morning the team makes twelve gelato and sorbet flavours, several of which have won prizes in ice cream competitions. There's always something to suit all tastes, but some of their most popular flavours are Markoolio's hazelnut with pistachio and salted caramel, Pernilla Wahlgren's lemon pie, Sofia Wistam's wild strawberry and prosecco sorbet and Siciliana supreme. And if you happen to drop by on a day they're serving burnt butter and Kinder egg flavour, you should definitely try this big seller. At Kennys they want everyone to be able to enjoy really good ice cream, so they always have at least two sorbets for anyone who is vegan or wants to eat gluten- and lactose-free.
