Grain Café

Grain Café on Kungsholmen specialises in porridge. Start the day with oat porridge with fresh toppings, or perhaps a yoghurt or chia pudding. They also serve vegan and gluten-free lunch dishes according to the seasons, such as homemade stews, soups and salads. Porridge is Grain's specialty and it can be ordered both vegan and gluten-free, as can lunch dishes.

Breakfast all day? At Grain Café it's not just possible, it's positively encouraged. Porridge and breakfast are served here all day, from early morning until afternoon. Porridge is their speciality, along with light lunches such as vegetarian soups, stews and salads. The colourful dishes can all be ordered vegan and/or gluten-free. Your choice of coffee with your choice of milk is included in the price of lunch.

At Grain Café, they serve food and drinks they enjoy themselves, with a focus on craftsmanship. Food is made on site, from scratch. They have three goals - that what they serve should be nutritious, tasty and filling.

The café's environmental and health consciousness affects everything they do, from the healthy vegetarian and vegan menu to the sustainable takeaway packaging they use. If you'd rather eat in you can enjoy the charming premises with wicker chairs, white tiles, pale green touches and plenty of pot plants.

You can also take a taste of Grain Café home with you, as they sell a small selection of products such as coffee beans and homemade granola.
