Texas Longhorn in the city is not a place I visit so often. I really need to be hungry for barbecue and almost be a bit ' backfull to go here. The portions are large and the saturation folds like a lid in the entire stomach afterwards.
I have on previous occasions eaten their ribs and think they are clearly approved but most recently it became the hamburger. Ridiculously, I didn't have a single hamburger when I was in the United States just now and that was what I wanted.
We dropped in shortly after 20.00 a Saturday and got a table within five minutes. The service is varied; From really cute to a little chunky hard. Luckily, we had the cuddly most time. We ordered the beverage: I a Zinfandel and husband a frothy beer in isat glass. I love showed glass, why don't have more places there? Not that we needed to cool us down so much this summer...
We both agreed on the burger and after about 20 minutes, each monster enters. I wanted my medium/rare but got more closer to the medium and the husband who wanted to have medium got medium/well. I still think it should not be so difficult to keep track of steaks, it's still a meat place. Now we were far too hungry to be able to say.
The burger is really a monster. Large Köttpuck, a lot of vegetables and late bread. The bread was a bit too dry and something too big and the burger was completely impossible to eat with his hands. The husband made a try and had food in the whole beard.
Their french fries to are more fried potato wedges but the right crispy and good. The sauce to felt like a hotter form of hamburgerdressing but we were clever enough to bring in Guacamole as well. Should we talk full-and semi-finished products, I am afraid that more than we thought is bought and not home made.
On the whole we were satisfied with our visit, I will not run back but somewhere usually we go back 1-2 times a year and will certainly continue to do so.
