You'll find this little piece of Palestine on Birger Jarlsgatan. Colourful Sweet O Salti serves tasty Palestinian dishes for lunch and dinner, with founder and chef Walaa Tebakhi at the reins. 

When Walaa came to Sweden she encountered new flavours that she combined with her passion for cooking, and she started a Youtube channel with the same name as the restaurant on which she taught modern Palestinian cooking. Since then, Walaa and her food have been lauded with several awards and she's been running this restaurant in Östermalm since 2018. 

At lunchtime they serve hot dishes, with meat, vegetarian and vegan options. In the evenings you can choose one of four tasting menus, or combine your favourite dishes to make a festive dinner to share with your table, or enjoy by yourself. Taste your way through hot and cold meze, such as dips, stuffed vine leaves, salads, halloumi, falafel and meat, or traditional Palestinian main courses. During Ramadan the restaurant also offers an Iftar menu for both adults and children.  

If you're arranging a party or want to celebrate something special you can either book the restaurant's private dining room with speakers and a projector at no extra cost, or order catering.
