This modern restaurant on Roslagsgatan oozes Spanish and South American influences. Enjoy rustic grilled dishes and tapas among the dark green tiling and muted tones. Their Spanish sister restaurant Bar Nombre provides some of the expertise in the kitchen.
After a few years of serving medium-sized vegetarian dishes in white tiled, light surroundings, the team behind the former Le Nom decided to re-think their name and concept. The result was Las Brasas, where the menu and interiors are inspired by the cuisine and culture of South America and Spain. Grilled meat and meat tapas are the main attraction, but there are also plenty of shellfish and vegetarian tapas, all elegantly served. There's also a strong emphasis on wines served alongside the food.
The premises also exude influences from Spain and South America. The restaurant is lined in rich, green tones and tiles, with lots of dark wood and marble-topped tables. Photographs, framed posters, wine bottles and playful curios such as a neon cactus cover the walls and there's a white marble statue alongside the bar - where you'll also find plenty of stools on which to perch and have a drink.
