If you're after decent seafood, there are a host of better options in town (eg B.A.R., the food markets at Östermalm and Hotorget). We will be steering clear of this place.

Hello.we had an awful expérience in rakan restaurant considering it was spécial occasion mariage aniversary.it is really disipointing evening the food below average service very poor.i would never recomend it to any dinners as we payed over 1600 and no manager to talk to staff standing close to our table waiting for us to leave even the time it was well before 23:00 no one offered if we want anything else or if the food was ok.basically it was waste of money and a lost evening and a feeling of been ripped off.just to remind you its an honest opinion and im more then happy to face the owners or the manager.but definetly would never come back even for 100kr.

A little mixed thoughts after visiting here. Came here for dinner not so long ago after I went to a musical nearby.

When you enter you are greeted by a stylish decorated bar and nice bartender who welcomed you. All around are all the various boats, marine, sea and seafood inspiring décor that you look at while you waited in waiter and our table.

In the middle of the restaurant there is the small pond with a boat going around, also heard that it loads shrimp if you sit at the middle tables. But we sat in the back. Very nice atmosphere and the light was cozy. However, I wonder what chairs they have?! There was no room to sit on them. They are quite triangular with the smallest part against the back of the chair so be quite uncomfortable to sit.

The waiter was super nice and the service was good! However, they cheated us a little on the price which is not okay. We were going to take starter and main course, but then were told that it would be cheaper with 3 course theater menu + 10% discount that you get then, Of course we ran on them.
We got 4 menus and then noticed that they were different. Apparently, they forgot to throw away some old menus.
They became the same food for all of us. Starter , a skagenröra that was FANTASTIC good. Really perfect. The bread on the side so the crunch lasted all the time, however, the arrangement was very 70's.
The main course was gosling with champagne sauce and roast potatoes. Actually, they were supposed to be another potato, but we asked for the old menu potatoes.
Very good even this, good flavors! However, also here, very 70's arrangement. What's the deal?
Super full we get after a long time ( we asked to wait a little with the dessert ) in the chocolate fondant. Even it was good. Not so sweet which I like, but good chocolate flavor. However, it was a little overpowering. And we were way too measured. And the third time's a charm. What's the deal with the '70s setup?
I've never been so concerned about how the food was set up, but it was here.

On arrival we also took a delicious whiskey sour and to the food there was a bottle of cava and prosecco. Both good.

Gud, är så splittrad efter den här upplevelsen. Vet inte riktigt vad jag känner.

Lokalen får mig av någon anledning att tänka på en Finlandsfärja. Eller är det namnet som för mig dit? Det är inte direkt mysig trots dämpa belysning. Lite av ett lunchhak eller frukostmatsal? Jag vet inte...

Servicen var... märklig? Han försökte skämta på något konstigt sätt. Inte otrevlig eller så. Och maten kom när den skulle. Men man visste inte riktigt hur man skulle förhålla sig till servitören. Kanske har jag för seg humor för det här stället?

Maten då? Det är här det är som mest splittrat. Efterrätten vet jag i ärlighetens namn inte var det var... men det såg ut som om det var direkt plockat från 1984. Ni vet uppläggningen som var så inne på 80-talet, den var direkt kopierad här. Utan att lyckas speciellt bra. Smakmässigt var den ok.

Huvudrätten var menlös och trist. Gav ingenting.

Men förrätten, och det är det här som gör det svårt att betygsätta, var GUDOMLIG. Det var hands down den absolut bästa toast Skagen jag ätit. Allt var perfekt! Lagom kladdig, perfekt smak, gyllene, helt nystekt bröd. Helt okej storlek på portion för priset - även om den för min del hade kunnat vara 16 gånger så stor!

Positivt är att du får rabatt på middagen om du varit på musikal, någon form av musikalmeny. Så siktar man på Oscarsteatern och vill ha något helt ok i närheten kan det här absolut vara ett alternativ. Tror dock inte att jag kommer gå tillbaka i första taget, trots gudomlig toast Skagen. Eller nåja... kanske för bara en Skagen i så fall!
