I strolled around in the old town and enjoyed while I was thinking of a place to eat and work in a couple of hours before the event. So suddenly peeking in through a door and sees the light wood, high ceilings and a name I never encountered. Curiosity took over and I went in.
Passion is like my mantra, and when I encounter people who start businesses with their passion, I can only admire their driving force. The owner is from Poland and serves this Polish sausage with only 100% meat and spices. They have found a small Polish producer which makes the sausage and accompanied by sauerkraut and Swedish influences sounds like the dream. I'll admit that I was not very hungry so I opted for a vegetarian soup with lentils and vegetables that came with a äggmacka. The egg sandwich was just as I would to a perfect äggmacka lunch time should be: chewy sourdough bread, egg, a little green, and mayonnaise. While the soup was really tasty. I prefer thin buljongliknande soups over creamy stories, especially when it is hot. To be served Polish Compote that was like a lemonade with rhubarb, Apple, acid, cool.
Coffee from Johan & Nystrom, little pastries and a hidden playroom for children. Contrasts but oh so clever. My only minus may be that they don't have wi-fi but it went finfint surfing from your phone and I will continue to do over here, I would like to go again and that should you also do. There are treasures of the old town, you just have to lift our gaze.
