Very nice and cozy little hole in the wall. Wonderful staff. Det finns ställen som får dig att känna dig välkommen från sekunden du kliver in genom dörrarna. En hjärtekrog kallar vissa det, jag kallar det ett ställe som förstått vad det handlar om. Det handlar inte om fancy inredning, coolaste och trendigaste menyn utan om genuin matlagning från hjärtat och där ägarna själva vill hänga. Äkta helt enkelt. Så är det här.

Med det sagt så vill jag ändå poängtera att på Jim & Jacob är det fint inrett med en blå vägg som får mig att vilja krypa ihop i ett hörn med en filt, en flaska rödvin och bordet fyllt av smårätter. En hög vägg bakom baren med vin och alkohol och ljus utställda på borden som är vackra att se på men lätt att råka tända eld på en meny med. Vi gjorde det inte men personalen varnade oss. Vi tänkte alla på att ljuset var behagligt denna halvmörka höstkväll. Inte för ljust eller ljust utan bra för både samtal och bilder.

3-4 rätter per person. Jag tog vaktel, majsbröd och slider med fläsksida. Menyn byts ofta utifrån tillgång men ser du majsbröd på menyn så beställ det. Enkelt serverat fortfarande varmt med salt smör. Vakteln var mör med lätt smak av järn (alltså perfekt) och gott med friterad morot till. Slidern var bra men hamnade i lä.

En bättre helhetsupplevelse! Miljö och service inkl en bra vinlista får högsta betyg. Vi var alla tre i sällskapet nöjda med maten utan att bli lyriska. Är absolut värt att testa en andra gång👌
