Italian influences in Södermalm

Invece serves up a little taste of Italy in the heart of Götgatan, with handmade pasta, Italian pizzas and rustic main courses. The restaurant also has a New York-inspired cocktail bar where you can sip prosecco and Aperol spritz. 

Invece has brought a slice of Italy and New York to Södermalm. Italian classics are served here in Italian-American surroundings with brown leather sofas, green wooden panels and classic posters on the walls. The kitchen has a “from scratch” philosophy and serves selected charcuterie, fresh pasta, pizza and main courses with Italian flavours. At lunchtime, you can visit Invece to eat their dish of the day or choose something from the fixed menu, which includes both pasta and pizza. At the weekend, they serve a buffet brunch with primi platti, secondi and dolce. Prosecco and brunch cocktails such as bellinis and espresso martinis are also served.

The restaurant has a cocktail bar, where you can meet up over an aperitivo and enjoy a cocktail before your meal in Italian style. The bartenders mix up classic drinks as well as signature cocktails, various spritzes and non-alcoholic mocktails. The wine list has an emphasis on Italian wines from small producers and includes a wide selection of everything from classic to exclusive wines. The idea is that it should be fun to try something new here, and wines should be natural, authentic and pair well with the food.  

During the summer months Invece opens up a sunny outdoor dining area on Götgatan where they serve lunch, dinner, wine and cocktails.
