Häktet Vänster är en av Stockholms första riktiga speakeasies och efter bara ett par års försök att komma in lyckades vi. Vi fick ett långt trevligt snack med bartender Svante Garsten vilket satte stämningen för kvällen. Som ett par andra ställen har de hakat på trenden med sällskapsspel så de hänger i taket, och de har till och med sitt eget där man kan få hjälp att beställa sin nästa drink. Vi struntade i det och beställde vår benchmarkdrink som naturligtvis serverades perfekt balanserad enligt önskemål. Förutom att de nu har permanenta signaturer på menyn är upplägget med senaste menyn en hyllning till signaturdrinkarna på alla andra toppbarer i Sverige! Alltså, vi pratar Whiskypinne, Pineapple Hustle, Kolagräs, Beets, Thai Basil och Pennegroni! Så fint! Och om vi inte är felunderrättade är det också Svantes avskedssymfoni… 🥃😍 Men om någon nämner Brun 7, spring mot dörren. 😱

Pandevin i 100 dagar!

Alltså ni alla måste dit innan det är försent.

Hur ska ja börja: trevligt bemötande, glada och pratglada servitörer. Enkel och tydlig meny. Mysigt ställe med behagligt med ljus, ljud och verkligen anpassat för covid-19 där du kan ta handsprit och sitter med avstånd.

Började med deras egna äppelmust samt en virgin bloody mary- omg en av de bästa jag druckit någonsin och då har jag testat många i mina dar.

Sedan beställare vi mat:

Vi alla tog pommes med vitlöksmajonäs - med bra balans i smaken.

- Tataren med friterad kapris och en tartarsås i mellan - magiskt! Smälte i munnen.

- Musslorna var goda och det var en lagom stor portion men jag hade velat ha lite mer smak av persilja och även lite bröd till att doppa i saften.

- En liten vårkyckling fick man med spetskål till. Spetskålen passade väldigt bra till kycklingen. Jag hade dock gärna velat att det kommit på en större tallrik och att man vet att det är ganska kladdig maträtt!

Gillar man grillat och välstekt så var denna lite mer ”precis” klar och då blir det kanske vissa delar lite mer mjuka. Men smakerna var goda.

Sen kommer vi till den magiska lilla mumsbit (glömde ta bild för vi bara åt upp allt) - en financier! Wow vilket toppavslut på en mycket trevlig brunch på ett sånt härligt ställe!

I was here for an AW after work midweek and what a positive surprise. We sat on the outdoor terrace in the courtyard, and what a lovely courtyard! It was a great atmosphere, just the right amount of table and therefore not too close to the next party. At the same time it did not feel empty but was quite lively and simply lovely atmosphere!



The waitress was super nice and helpful with my always tough allergies. The only downside that can be complained about the dinnerware was that they were most likely slightly understaffed, which meant that sometimes it took a little too long between times she got past the table.



The food was good for you. The food was smaller dishes and absolutely perfect for an AW! You could take as many dishes as you felt and there was something for everyone. They were also super good, especially the salmon (!!) - super tips to everyone who goes there this season.

I definitely come back here for food and drinks!

No but OH MY GOD WHAT GOOD!
That I have not come here before is a wonder, since almost everyone I know are diligent guests here. We had dinner on a weekday so the atmosphere was relatively calm. However, packed with a cozy lovely buzz but we were able to talk to each other all night without having to scream - something that I really appreciate.

All the food was super, (Take the leprosy bowl!) but the bread was something in a class of its kind. "Plain bread?" you're thinking now. But it really wasn't ordinary bread. It was absolutely amazing! So amazing that we ordered another as dessert. Even though I'm a bread lover, it's not often that I choose it instead of dessert. Can highly recommend it!

The room is cozy, nicely decorated. The staff were attentive, knowledgeable and helpful. We never had to wait long for service and both food and drink were delivered at a great pace - whether too fast or too slow.

Throughout it was a fantastically enjoyable experience and I will definitely go back in the near, soon future!

Jag och en vän gick spontant in på häktet en fredagskväll för middag och efter lite väntan i baren lyckades de ordna ett bord till oss längst in till höger under lite grönska (supermysigt). Ingen av oss hade ätit middag där innan och satan vad förvånad jag blev! Maten var helt magisk! Jag rekommenderar stark att man testar grönkålschipsen. Bra service och väldigt avslappnad miljö trots att det är en ganska högljudd lokal annars. 4,5/5 👌

Ojojoj What many nice, wacky and chaotic nights I have had here. When a familiar one lives nearby, it has just become natural that we have gone down here when the dance craving has been reminded.
