Edit Oct-17: now I have been there many times and the Barbro is definitely one of my favorites and it really surprises me that I didn't put a Fiver for three years ago, when I was there the first time.

I've finally been here!

From previous reviewers and other outsiders' reviews to start from, it was difficult not to sit there with high expectations of quality and taste but I really made an effort not to fantasize about any taste experience before the visit. Of course, I had checked out the menu and decided tonight's dinner in advance... and no my company did not have to think and think, but kindly agreed and trusted my choices.

Vart du än i Stockholms befinner dig så måste du bara ta dig hit! Om ni är fler än 2 personer rekommenderar jag att boka bord, annars brukar den proffsiga personalen kunna klämma in en duo i baren. Om du ej har bokat och restaurangen är full (som den kommer vara) så har du hela Hornstull strand som din utsikt och ett antal barer och restauranger att ta en vänt-öl på så länge.
När ditt sällskap väl sitter på plats har jag ett första tips - ta hjälp av personalen! De hjälper dig gärna med rekommendationer både när det kommer till mat och dryck. Om du frågar mig så börjar jag gärna med en yuzu margarita, bara för att den är så god. När det kommer till maten är ett MÅSTE de friterade shiitakedumplingsarna i shisobuljong. OMG. Vi beställde in en extra kanna (ja ni läste rätt, en kanna) med buljong som vi hällde upp i varsitt glas. Efter detta besök pratar jag och min sambo om denna rätt minst en gång i veckan.

Till detta tycker jag att ni ska äta anklever på wontonchips med fikonkompott, broccolin med fårost och marconamandlar och den glaserade fläsksida. Till detta smuttade jag på min margarita och även en veteöl, vilket var perfekt!

Hit kan du lika väl gå med tjejgänget, familjen eller på en intim dejt. Kanske inte optimalt för middag med mormor då ljudnivån kan bli rätt hög pga fullt restaurang. Belysningen är enligt mig perfekt dov, däremot är detta något jag vet att min mormor ej uppskattar.

Tyvärr har jag vart så uppe i maten när jag vart här så tyvärr är det brist på bilder. Däremot knäppte jag en bild på min fina sambo och restaurangens coola neonskylt.

The food is the best in town when it comes to Miss Asian fusion, for example. not their fried dumplings with shiitake-dom melts in your mouth. Usually order lots of dishes (read. almost the entire menu) and share on not to miss something good.

They have managed to maintain a personal, family and professional feel, perhaps because they are hidden at hornstull Strand, but is kind yet always fully booked. This creates a perfect balance between Nice and populated without ever feeling crowded. If you have not booked one can manage to pinch a bar table if one is given.
