We took their duo tent. There are two tents next to each other with two patios connected to each other. Awesome nice to do with another couple. On the plus side, + The tents, really cozy and nicely decorated. + and associated patios. Same there, very nice. + The food and service. Best in the archipelago. + You can bring your own alcohol and the like to have in the tents. They are very helpful with ice, glass, bowls, etc.
This is enough for them to get a four, but there's a little bit on the hair. On the minus side: - We had a mouse (or maybe even.m little rat? 😨) that woke us up at 4am because it was trying to get into a chip bag (rustling some I can say...). When we tried to chase it right, it disappeared. Then it came back an hour later. And again. After a while, we realized that it slipped in and out of a small hole (for power cords, etc.) on the tent. Didn't feel like it was the first time it visited the tent. Zero evening sun. Combined with the fact that the place is quite exposed to wind, it is easy for it to get cold until the evening. They should be able to do something else with Santa Claus. There are a lot of pine trees and other trees, no green grass, flowers or the like. The jetty/beach feels more like a harbour, and the fact that there is not even a bathing ladder on the jetty seems strange to me. The restaurant's environment is ok, but no more. They should be able to do more to match the 5-star tents.
In any case, we had a very nice stay and I think you should try glamping in the archipelago. Then if there are better options than Svartsö, I have a bad idea, but the food is a big plus here. In terms of price, it is around 4500 SEK/couple incl dinner (excluding drinks). About what I expected.
