Where to try out virtual reality in Stockholm

VREX in Bromma has created a virtual landscape with 300 square metres ready to be discovered through VR headsets. Battle with zombies in the apocalypse, or hunt for a mystical diamond skull in the jungle with the help of clues and riddles. "Full body tracking" technology allows you to see and interact with your friends in the game.

At Stockholm VR Center opposite Globen there are 35 different games and worlds to discover. Try out how it feels to move around under water, float in space or challenge friends to virtual laser tag. Do you dare jump from the roof of a skyscraper?

Play escape room games in VR at Questrooms and head out into a frozen cosmos, prevent the Chernobyl disaster or become Indiana Jones for a year. The game works as well for groups of friends, colleagues, families and children.

Choose between two different virtual reality games to play with friends at BallBreaker. In the "Tower battle" game you take on challenges such as putting out fires and shooting with crossbows. In "Beat hero" you get to experience being a jedi and collect points by smashing music blocks with a laser sword.

Defeat terrifying zombies by working in teams of three people at the VR arena inside Jumpyard in Nacka Forum. They also have the classic game, "Beat saber", where you smash cubes with a light saber in time to the music.
