Det tog mig nästan ett år att ta mig till Hälsocafét för första gången och istället för att sörja de goda måltider jag gått miste om tänker jag njuta av den jag åt och hoppas fler tar sig i kragen och går hit.

Hälsocafét öppnades med ambitioner att erbjuda god mat med hänsyn till miljö och hälsa. Det är alltså inte som på en del andra ställen där det först och främst är nyttigt och sen gott. Befriande och skönt tycker jag som verkligen tycker om när mat är nyttig men vill att det ska smaka fantastiskt oavsett.

Lokalen är mycket större än jag hade väntat mig och när vi var där så lyste solen och gav hopp om den gömda lilla uteserveringen på baksidan. Det kommer nog vara stekhett där på sommaren då den är helt skyddad från vinden med hus på alla sidor. Ta med dig din fyrfota vän (japp hunden är välkommen här), drick en juice och ge vännen lite vatten.

Matmässigt så såg allt på menyn frestande ut men på inrådan av Sara H så blev det en sallad på egna val. Smart att du kan ta en lapp, ta dig tid att fylla i det du vill ha, ställa frågor och sen få den perfekta salladen för just dig.

Jag valde zucchini som "pasta", soltorkade tomater, Oumph, avokado, fetaost, tomatsallad och tabbouleh med vitlöksdressing. Jag vet inte vad salladsexperterna säger om den blandningen men för mig blev det perfekt. Vitlöksdressing höll vampyrer borta hela dagen och jag satt på en egen rad på flyget ett par timmar senare vilket säkert inte var en tillfällighet.

Meningen är att de ska gå mer och mer mot det helt veganska utan att tumma på kvalitet, ekologi eller smak och jag kan inte annat än att hylla det. Jag är helt klart glad över att jag äntligen kom iväg och ser fram emot att testa juicer och det söta utbudet inom kort. Jag tänker också att om du kommer när de öppnar och går innan lunchrushen kan du säkert sitta där och jobba också.
