Wäng is a special place! Either you usually like to go on super-ambitious places like Miss Voon and Barbro, which are fantastic but cost a lot, or it tends to be neighborhood hangout where it more is about getting food in the belly.
Wäng has a bit of both worlds, though most of the ambitious, but the prices closer to the neighborhood's catch. The venue is ambitious, no talk. Here they have tried to create a finer place, and I think they have succeeded in large part. It does not have the same feeling/wow factor as some others, but it is nice and fresh and is nice to sit here for a while. The same thing with the staff. It doesn't reach up to the highest class in how professional they are, but is really super cute. The food is also a pretty big step after the best, but quite long before most budget hak.
It may sound negative, that they lie one step after the better places in almost everything. The difference is that prices are not comparable. We ate 4 "Asian tapas", half a roll (6 pieces) and a sushi (9 pieces) and drank some beer and bubble water. It went at 570 kr. I think it's cruel affordable. Had the prices been like in the finer places, so I had put a third in the grades, but that it is so affordable raises definitely the grade one level. I wonder if it is not cheaper than type Caliente/similar Tapashak (which I can still appreciate a lot for what it is), and then the quality of service, food and interior design is considerably much higher. It will be a fairly unique restaurant experience with the price level.
Best was the Tempurarulle with tuna and jalapeno on. It was magical. The rest was good, but no more than that. Everything nicely presented. Wouldn't surprise me if I come back on a spontaneous everyday dinner shortly.
