Vassa Eggen has ever since the first visit for a couple of years ago has been one of my top 3 Favorites in Stockholm. A cool place with good cocktail bar. Awesome location right at Stureplan, which means that you do not have to take a taxi if you're going on.

Before you eat, you have to test their "cones" (think they are titled "snacks"). Small, very small, cones filled with lobster/tryffelaioli, roe or something else. My favorite is the lobster. Expensive as hell, but it is probably among the most delicious to eat.

Förrätterna replaced quite frequently. Most recently, I ate a kantarelltoast, possibly the best I've eaten. The main dishes are a bit more permanent, and although Nebraskan stands tall in the course so it can be fun to try out other pieces of meat as well. Anyway, the meat you should take. The only time I've been disappointed by the Sharp Edge is when I ate their Burger which is served in the bar, it was not good and I hope they improve it.

In the evening turns to night rather than a & bar where it always is pulse and lots of lovely people. Vassa Eggen works nicely both if you are a bunch who want to hang out and talk, or if you feel like creating your own (though small) dance floor at the bar. Try their whiskey sour!
