Mosebacke Torg in Södermalm is home to one of the most famous and multifaceted venues in the city. Södra Teatern was built in the 1800s and today houses everything from restaurant to nightclubs, a bar as well as concerts and festivals. Mosebacke Terrace is open during the summer and boasts picturesque views over Stockholm.
Mosebacke Etablissment is Södra Teatern's restaurant welcoming both meat-eaters and vegetarians. Smaller vegetarian dishes are served with meat and fish as optional sides. The restaurant offers a chambre separée for guests in need of a more intimate sojourn. During the weekend a jazz brunch is on the menu.
Stora Scen / The Grand Stage
The grand salon from 1859 is the city's oldest private theatre still in use. Concerts and stand-up shows are hosted here, but the theatre can also be rented for lectures and corporate events. Altogether there are 414 seats.
Södra Bar / South Bar
Södra Bar houses two bars and nightclubs open every weekend. Aside from the bar scene, Södra Bar offers unobstructed views over the whole city. The veranda, which is open during the summer, is a popular addition.
Kägelbanan hosts concerts, clubs, debates and smaller theatrical performances. Södra Teatern's largest venue has two stages and total capacity of 600 people.
Mosebacketerrassen / Mosebacke Terrace
Mosebacke Terrace has long been the obvious summer hangout for locals and tourists alike. The outdoor space can host up to 2000 people (!) - ideal for socialising, listening to music, eating, drinking and enjoying the view.
Champagnebaren / Champagne Bar
Södra Teatern's banquet room offers panoramic views and a private terrace, ideally suited for smaller events, conferences and parties. During the summer, the Champagne Bar is open to the public.
