With a half bottle of champagne inside the vest, we were really excited when we stepped into the restaurant. We choose between five and Sjurättersmenu and malfunctions of course when we want to have the five-course menu with drink package plus the oyster that belongs to the second menu-no problem! I am very happy about that decision when the oylion was the tastiest we ate during the evening.
We asked questions about EVERYTHING-what fish is the roe from (Sjurygg!)?, how long can you cook natural wine?, where do the flowers come from (hand-picked by the chef from his garden!). The service was professional and had answers to everything! However, we lacked that personal touch that allows you to walk away from a restaurant with a butterflies in your body. We were one of all guests coming here every night year after year..
Clearly worth a visit for the food, the natural wine and service excellence. But now it will be down to the neighborhood restaurant for a little "Tjenis" with the restaurateur.
