I and i visited Agaton for dinner together. I ate a pepper steak on fillet of beef and potato gratin and my company a lamb sirloin with risotto. Both dishes were very good. Risotton was amazing!
But where did the service go? None of the staff were interested in what we thought about the food and if it tasted good, even though it was quite allowed guests in the dining room. Around my fillet of beef sat a piece of plastic ribbon (or similar) left. I couldn't cut off a piece of the meat and wondered why, until I saw the plastic tape. After the removal of this, it went better!
After the main course we decided to order a different dessert and coffee. We sat there with empty plates, but none of the staff took any notice of us. After about 15-20 minutes it came by a waiter who, without asking if we were satisfied with the food, gave us a different dessert menu. By then we had already saddened and requested the bill instead.
There are many fine restaurants in the Old Town, so why go to Agaton? I don't like being served with a shrug, even if the food tastes good!

The location is great and the old town was very good. Classic Italian dishes, the flavors sit as they should. Service ok. No place I salute but neither dissar directly. it is what it is
