I have pulled myself to write this update because it means that a star disappears but honesty is important so here it comes.
What is happening in the town? First the best sushi disappears and now you can't trust Finefood anymore. The end is close (insert the appropriate Domedagsmusik).
Finefood has not been the most innovative or most affordable but the portions were large, coffee good and feeling cozy and snug. It was a natural meeting place for all the townspeople. Then came the renovation that removed the charming warped feeling and replaced it with the feeling of conveyor belts and factory. The walls were painted green, the number of seats increased and the drive became smaller. I understand them. It's about maximizing turnover and I'm totally with but then you need to have some things in mind and the following things bother me: + Acoustics are terrible with loud noises and no mufflers. The staff were friendly and helpful. They are not right now. + As the icing on the cake, the portions do not feel as big as before but the prices consist.
I like Finefood, one of my favorite salads with cauliflower, chicken and raisins are here but right now it feels just okay.
As a last thing; Have a little track when you buy from the nice shelves. Some things don't go as well as others so the date can be short.
