Poke Bowls har lyst med sin frånvaro i Stockholm. Först ut var Rawsallad men nu verkar det lossna lite. Är det en kommande trend vi ser? Jag hoppas på det. Vem älskar inte att äta med sked (eller pinnar) i en skål på restaurang utan att någon höjer på ögonbrynen.
Jag mötte upp kärleken strax före ett en solig dag i juni och även om recensionerna lyser med sin frånvaro här på Yelp (ojojoj) så var det fullt ös där på trappan upp mot Stockholms bästa utsikt. Lokalen inomhus är liten med enbart tre bord så det är soliga dagar som gäller. Då kan du knipa ett bord på uteserveringen eller bara sitta i trappan och äta, det finns kuddar att låna.
Här är det personlig och varm service med äkta leenden, vilken lycka det är. Alla tre som jobbade bakom disken log, skojade och tog hand om gästerna. Det märks att de redan fått massor av stammisar. Jag förstår det. Jag vill äta Poke Bowl varje dag här.
Menyn sträcker sig prismässigt från 70kr för vegetarisk poke till 130kr för maxad tuna. Jag tog maxad tuna med mango, avokado, kimchi och gari på en varm risbädd. Koriander i mängder för att toppa det. Ett varningens finger: det står ingenstans att det är koriander på så är du inte ett fan säg till vid beställning. Kärleken tog medi poke som är med tabbouleh, soltorkade tomater och feta (?). Helt olika smaker på båda rätterna vilket alltid är positivt.
Så vad är då poke bowl undrar du? Det är som den bästa uppfinningen. Ris, rå fisk och massa godsaker i en och samma skål, lite som demonterad sushi. Kommer från Hawaii och poke betyder just att skära.
Jag tror det här bara är början på poke bowls segertåg genom Stockholm. Hurra!

Can hardly be a more charming location than in the alleys behind Mariatorget. Really good bowls, super lovely local and Urtrevlig staff. Many adjectives, but they are worthy!

Late summer and we were sitting outside at one of the tables on the stairs. Closer to the feeling abroad in Sweden, it is almost impossible to get. Blankets are available and small heaters over the tables if you stay for a long time as we did. I was never in the room, so I have to ask to come back!
The staff was very nice and the service absolutely approved. The food was a bit mixed. We shared a pitapizza and a mezetallrik. Both were good, but nothing was "wow". The bowler, on the other hand, you, it's wow! We shared a beet, cabbage and sheep's cheese (which in retrospect I regret because I would have preferred the whole thing to myself! - A little ego, I know!) But it was really so good! Perfectly cooked beets, salty from the cheese, sticky rice, fantastic sauce that it was not skimped with but also was not too much of so it became edgy. Wonderfully good!
I can't wait until I can get back! I have to be at least twice because I want a whole beet bowl to myself but at the same time I really have to try their tuna! So yes, I'll have to do it twice more!

EDIT: September 2022 Okay, things can change. A bowl has changed its concept and I'm so excited. We ate their entire evening menu and with our hands on our hearts, everything was so good. We ate every single dish on the entire menu and it what so damn najs, exciting and new. Love
June 2022 Good but... Whats the hype? Absolutely good topping and side dish, but 60% of the plate was white rice. Took tuna, roasted bell pepper, white cabbage & herb salad, walnut & sesame topping. All of this was good but still nothing extra ordinary, the mess and topping weren't enough for my leftover rice. Nice staff and lovely outdoor seating!
