I don't think Mahalo on Oden Street is worth the hype it's got. Not when you're here for lunch, anyway. Breakfast might be better.
Have been here for lunch twice and have both times gone with the feeling why did I choose this place? We waited almost 30 minutes for our salads which should not take so long and as pointed out several times before, when visiting restaurants for lunches so it should be quick. Once the food arrived, I was disappointed. Took a salad called Kail Seitan but it tasted absolutely nothing. It tasted like cabbage. The dressing that would be a caesarean dressing tasted zero and sweet potatoes that otherwise tend to give off a lot of flavor gave nothing. Felt like it's been frozen for a while and therefore lost taste. Thanks for now Mahalo!
