Even though I don't drink wine, I've always wanted to try Gaston. When the corona crisis hit and they offered half the price of all food, it was therefore difficult to resist. Ran the tasting menu. 6 dishes plus a small macaron. And good it was! Really high level actually. Every dish was delicious, some magical. It was a bit nice to finish the salty dishes with a pretty hefty red wine braised ox cheek, so you really got full for real. The place itself is also really nice. The only downside of the whole evening was that we had to wait extremely long for, above all, the first, but also the second, dish. Luckily, however, the staff apologized, chaos in the kitchen apparently, and then I don't think there's ever a problem. $400 was extremely affordable. $800, which it's supposed to cost, is perhaps in the top tier.

The food is amazing! They have/had a Reuben Burger with sauteed mushrooms that all should try. Since, they have really nice wines and you get very catered to by the staff.
