Join a family festival celebrating LGBTQ+ History Month

The National Maritime Museum in Greenwich is laying on a one-day family festival on 17th February to coincide with LGBTQ+ History Month. “Out at Sea” is a free event that celebrates queer maritime history with a variety of fun activities. You're welcome to book tickets in advance but can also just turn up on the day.

A variety of events are taking place as part of the festival including performances, workshops, talks, stalls, and a clothing swap. The majority of activities are suitable for all ages and abilities. Attendees can try a maritime aerobics session, make their own zine, or learn more about the surprising lives of female pirates, amongst many other activities. This festival is part of an ongoing series of events at the museum to mark LGBTQ+ History Month.
