Perfect restaurant if you want to get away from the pulse of the city center, beautiful views and very good lunch. The meatballs were delicious and a lunch is 95 SEK. We then sat down and had coffee down on the jetty! ☀️☕️
An old favorite that I have both brought my dear mother to, the date and the best friend. It is perfectly located by the river where you have a view of passing exercisers, ferries, boats and Eriksberg. Unfortunately, they are in the process of restoring the bridge, which spoils the impression somewhat, but it is still a location out of the ordinary! We slip there on a windy August evening to enjoy their wonderful Middle Eastern-inspired menu and sit down on their almost deserted outdoor terrace, which is usually full when the wind is not blowing. When we go in to order, we are greeted by three of the staff, who all look at us, but no one say hello, greet us or smile. We get the same treatment at the checkout from the two people who stand and talk to each other. When I first cheer, they look at me and say hello, almost like I'm disturbing. We order their meze plate, but when I ask if it's possible to get both sausage and chicken instead of choosing, for an extra fee of course, she replies that she doesn't think it's possible. Since both are available on the menu, I ask why and she replies that she will check with the kitchen. After a long deliberation, we get to buy chicken for 41kr. When we're about to ask for water, the other girl jumps behind the counter, who is now fiddling with her phone. After this reception, we go out and wait for the food to arrive just in time. The burrata capress (149kr) is a lovely dish with both burrata and parmesan, very good! The meze plate (260kr with extra chicken) is already a favorite, but it feels slightly smaller than previous years. The flavors, however, are the same. Good, well-composed and satisfying. This is the place to go for good food without finesse or frills, in a lovely environment and a good hangout, but not if you want good service or a good reception!
