Relatively newly opened and since my company and I have eaten in all places on Avenyn over the years, we thought it would be fun to change and try something new. At Olivia you eat Italian food with mediterranean elements: pasta, pizza, bread, olive oil in the form of antipasti, primi piatti, secondi, contorini, dolci with the classic tiramisún and to that a wine list of Italian wines. A dinner with drinks lands around 200-250, with dessert and appetizer 300 SEK.
Really shysst local, very desailed and extra plus for the big round tables. As for the food, we thought it tasted good, not WOW but absolutely tasty. We ordered a seafood pasta, deep-fried octopus rings, a piza bianca with 4 different kinds of cheeses and a tomato-based pizza. There wasn't really much to complain about except that the portitions were a little at the bottom, the pizza was too small to fill a wonx's stomach and instead of throwing up a large piece of bread on the pasta plate, it would have been nicer with more pasta.
What pulls down the grade is the service that was non-existent. They were not unpleasant but invisible and we sat without water, oil and salt for quite a while until we ourselves had to lift our butt and pick up. No biggie, but half the pleasure of eating at the restaurant is not having to touch a finger. Repentance and to be honest I won't go back, there's a lot more exciting food out there!
