We have been here many times and we always leave full and of course happy to have Italian food. But with that said, we also want to point out that when we have been here with large groups, it has been under all criticism. Rolling our eyes when we ordered wine, asked for taste advice and even actually said that the wine or the food was not quite ok. Unacceptable to treat guests in that way. Understand that there are many (8 people) but still, then a restaurant should not accept it from the beginning.
When we have been smaller groups of 4-2 people, it has been much better and then we have also sat in the first part you enter, which is the nicest. Cozy, nice and we felt welcome as guests. I also feel that the food on weekday evenings is much better and really Italian than on weekends. During the weekend, it feels more like a local pizzeria that throws the cream into the pasta and directly on the plate. Are they different cooks?
If you're not super picky, just want food and aren't a connoisseur, this works great. If you know your food and wine, I would go somewhere else. For example, their new sister restaurant - Sorrelina. Super! But more on that in another review.
I really hope it gets better because I really think Nonna can recover.
