'Yes, we're dog friendly, just ask Rufus' – is one of Elnecot's Instagram posts, alongside a very cute picture of a curly-haired cockapoo. So, yes, Elnecot welcomes dogs, and you don't need to leave yours at home to enjoy their award-winning British food. They're open every day, seven days a week, from midday until late. DJs will be there each weekend to add to the vibe.

The Oast House is a Manchester mainstay, serving hearty roasts on Sundays and tasty comfort food in the week, like Canadian poutine, Margherita pizzettes (this does include the cheese tax), and other favs like burgers, wings, kebabs and more.
