Founder's Hall

Opened early in 2024, Founder's Hall is a contemporary pub in Albert Square. If you're looking for a trendy spot to enjoy a drink or food in the middle of the city, this is a venue not to be missed. The pub has an eclectic interior with tiled floors, exposed bricks, and beer-themed signage and paraphernalia, all decorated in neutral colours. There's a cheerful and friendly atmosphere as well, plus outdoor seats if you'd rather have a drink al fresco.

Beer is the star of the show at Founder's Hall. Behind the bar you'll uncover a huge choice of brews, from exclusive small-batch beers to craft beers and cask ales. Don't worry if beer isn't your favourite – the bar also offers spirits, cocktails, and non-alcoholic options, including coffee. 

Food isn't forgotten about here either – from light bar snacks to larger meals, there's plenty to try, and the food has been designed to pair perfectly with a pint. There are small plates like black pudding Scotch eggs, plaice goujons, and creamy mushrooms, plus filled savoury muffins, traditional handmade pies, and main meals such as burgers, beer battered fish and chips, and salads. On Sundays you can visit for a generous roast served with all the trimmings.
