Tara Theatre

Tara Theatre is a contemporary theatre with a global outlook, creating charged and innovative performances through a South Asian lens. Founded in 1977 in response to a racist murder, the Tara theatrical company champions South Asian voices and artists at its stylish, award-winning theatre, which opened in 2016 and features state-of-the-art technical facilities, a 100-seat performance space, a café bar with a patio garden, and a 30-seat studio.
