Upstairs at The George

Located above a Grade II listed pub, Upstairs at The George is a cosy fine dining establishment that encompasses three rooms with large windows providing a nice view of the area. The menu here is the work of chef James Knappett of the two Michelin-starred Kitchen Table and revolves around seasonal ingredients and British cuisine. Sophisticated takes on classic dishes, for example gardener’s pie and Aberdeen angus steak tartare, can be paired with one of the bottles from the English Sparkling Wine Bar, among the best such selections in the city.
