With vivid green banquettes and highlights flowing up the walls into floral arrangements, Medlar is a trendy, stylish spot. It isn’t shy about its European influences, with things like crab ravioli or English asparagus popping up on the menu, but the foundations are firmly French. The one-, two- or three-course lunch and dinner menus include things like Belted Galloway beef rump with snails, glazed pork cheek or duck egg tart with red wine sauce.
