Akara is the sibling restaurant to the upscale restaurant Akoko, which serves a mouth-watering West African-inspired tasting menu. The name of the restaurant comes from the much-loved black-eye pea fritters eaten across West Africa, and they serve an à la carte menu of traditional flavours from around West Africa. Expect street food, sharing plates, and plenty of barbecued meat and fish, alongside an inventive cocktail list featuring favourites from Akoko and a wine menu that highlights lesser-known grape varieties.
