Arthur Probsthain

Arthur Probsthain, an independent, family-run bookshop across the street from the British Museum, is over one hundred years old. It offers a sizeable collection of second-hand and new books from the Oriental and African world, including out-of-print books and other rarities. The bookshop also has a gallery showcasing art from the above areas, as well as a tea room where you can indulge in afternoon tea.
