Seemingly just another classic British pub from the outside, Plaquemine Lock takes an unexpected turn once you walk through its doors. The vibrant establishment is decorated with a pair of large, colourful murals and serves Louisiana-inspired food such as po’ boy sandwiches, gumbos, Cajun cracklings and other unusual but hearty food. It also regularly hosts live jazz music, including during its weekend brunches, and is right next to Regent’s Canal for a pleasant post-dinner stroll.
