Swedish padel pioneers Rocket Padel are gearing up to take over London's padel scene

Rocket Padel is a giant of the padel world, having at one point run the biggest padel club in the world at the time. Though they took a hit during the pandemic, they've been hard at work on expansion since, opening the largest indoor padel club in the UK just last year, in Bristol. Now they've set their sights on the capital and 2024 is shaping up to be a big year for them.

To start things off, they'll be opening London's largest indoor padel club next month. Located in Ilford, the fully-staffed venue will include eleven panoramic courts and two tournament centre courts, along with spectator areas, a conference room, warm-up zones, a bar, a pro shop, and other facilities. The state-of-the-art Rocket Padel Ilford promises to take the fast-growing London padel scene to the next level.

Rocket Padel Battersea Power Station

If Ilford is a bit too out of the way for you, don't worry, as you won't have long to wait for a more convenient option. Having tested the waters with a pop-up padel court at Battersea Power Station last year, Rocket Padel is returning to the landmark building with the first riverside indoor padel courts in Central London. Four padel courts will be available at Rocket Padel Battersea Power Station, alongside an immersive exhibition space. The new venue will have a focus on the local community, organising free taster sessions as well as offering educational workshops, an accredited training programme, and more. The venue is set to open later this year.
