Marugame Udon brings Japanese flavours to Veganuary

It's not all doom and gloom at this time of year – with January comes Veganuary, and restaurants around the capital are serving up vibrant plant-based dishes that will help you beat the winter blues. If you're a fan of Japanese cuisine, casual restaurant group Marugame Udon have launched a couple of exciting Veganuary dishes that bring Londoners an authentic plant-based taste of Japan.

The Marugame x Veganuary range combines handcrafted noodles with the spirit of Veganuary. These are dishes created fresh every day, served in a casual setting. This place is best-known for its fresh udon, so try out the creamy kitsune udon made with a vegan tonkotsu-style broth and topped off with sweet kitsune tofu. Alternatively, there's a crunchy pumpkin katsu curry involving seasoned pumpkin in panko breadcrumbs with a mild curry sauce – enjoy yours served with rice or udon.

These dishes aren't the only treats Marugame Udon is sending your way for Veganuary. Members of the Marugame club get double bowl stamps when they order the Veganuary special dishes throughout the entire month. If you're not already a member, learn more and join the club here.

Marugame Udon's special dishes are available throughout Veganuary and beyond, all the way up until 12th February. You can taste them for yourself at one of the group's many locations around the city.
