East London's independent wine market returns with a festive twist

Clapton's destination for the wine-curious, the independent wine market Wineyard, is returning on 10 December, bringing together some of the best wine importers and producers for a day of festive wine tastings.

Following its successful debut in September, Wineyard is once again bringing all things wine to Clapton, offering a wide selection of wine under Round Chapel's roof. You'll be able to sip, slurp, and shop your way around the market stalls, trying out fine vintages from around the world. Mulled wine, mulled cider, and non-alcoholic options will be offered as well.

In addition to sampling the wine, you'll also be able to learn about wine thanks to the rolling programme of live talks with wine experts. Throughout the day, they'll cover a wide range of topics, from “Pick the Perfect Christmas Wine Pairing” to “Top Christmas Presents for Wine Lovers”, aiming to provide attendees with interactive and accessible insights about wine.

Food will also be provided, with various local vendors plying their wares, and the family-friendly event will take care of kids' entertainment as well.

Wineyard takes place at Round Chapel on Sunday 10 December, from 1pm to 6pm. Find out more and book tickets here. Tickets include a glass and tote bag to take home, along with five tasting tokens. You can purchase additional tokens at the event. A portion of all token sales is donated to charity organisation The Great Oven.
