Cinnamon Kitchen is bringing back the colourful madness of its House of Holi

Celebrating the Indian festival of colours and love, participants can rock up to the Square Mile restaurant with their friends and family – and start pelting each other with paint.

Holi is a major Hindu festival celebrating colours, love, and spring, with images of thousands of participants across India smearing each other with coloured powders making the rounds each year. In 2024, Holi falls on 25 March, and acclaimed Indian chef Vivek Singh is bringing back his annual House of Holi pop-up in the lead-up.

Vivek Singh in full-on Holi mode

The House of Holi is a purpose-built party pod erected outside of the City branch of Singh's Cinnamon Kitchen. Visitors to this fun event can experience the colourful madness of Holi for thirty minutes, pelting each other with dry colours in a safe space (safe meaning no one is going to be shouting at you for getting paint on the walls, floor, yourself, others – anywhere and everywhere, really).

In addition to the half hour's worth of fun, a ticket to House of Holi includes a welcome cocktail. You can also upgrade your experience with a special five-course Holi meal after your done with your paint-throwing tantrum. That's not all Singh has cooked up for Holi, either. He'll be hosting a special Holi Feast Supper Club on 20 March at Cinnamon Kitchen City. Meanwhile, all of the Cinnamon Collection restaurants will be serving a Festival of Colours set menu from 11 to 30 March.

The House of Holi will be at Cinnamon Kitchen City from 15 to 25 March, with tickets starting at £10 for children and £25 for adults. You can find out more and book here.
