Award-winning musical "A Strange Loop" debuts in London

Catch one of the most acclaimed musicals in recent times for a limited period only.

“A Strange Loop” tells the story of Usher, a gay Black man who is writing a musical about a gay Black man who is writing a musical. First premiering on Broadway in 2022, the musical has taken home a number of awards, including the Pulitzer Prize for Drama and two Tony Awards (completing producer Jennifer Hudson's EGOT in the process).

On 17 June, the London production of the musical opens at the Barbican Centre for a limited run until 9 September, with original understudy Kyle Ramar Freeman starring. The audaciously funny show that tackles issues of race and sexuality is part of the Barbican's Pride Month programme, which includes a number of other events.
