Beautiful castle and grounds with lots to do, including fun jousting tournaments and falconry demos. Great for a day trip from London.
Loved everything about Quo Vadis. The restaurant is pleasant, calm and relaxed, with really cool drawings on the walls and staff that are friendly, professional, and very helpful. The food was great - no wonder the smoked eel samdwich here is so famous, and the sticky toffee pudding was exceptional.
One of the best bakeries in London and definitely a local favourite. The sourdough muffins are phenomenal, and go great with the excellent coffee.
Really well-stocked comics shop. I like how you have contemporary graphic novels on the ground floor, then you descend into the comics den with all sorts of rarities below.
Love Max's sandwiches, the combos often sound weird but they always work. Wish they had more options for non-meat eaters, but the ones they do have are banging. The place is pretty small considering the popularity, so you usually have to wait outside to get a table, but it's worth it.
Great place for a quick and healthy lunch on the go, I always pick up some rolls to take home when I go by. They have lots of different options, the tuna & cucumber roll is excellent, but you can't go wrong with any of them.
Pretty impressive building from the outside, with a varied programme of events. Film, music, theatre, art, whatever you're into, you're sure to find something to your liking here.
It's a bit hard to find - it's basically just a big warehouse on an industrial estate - but they basically have every Asian food product imaginable. It's never crowded, either.
Love the Bunsik corndogs, especially the cheesy one. The Camden branch has enough tables too, which makes it nicer than some of the other branches, you don't feel crowded or in a rush, you can take your time and enjoy the food.
