Review of Centralbadet – by Adam L.

Grew up in Stockholm but has not visited Centralbadet until now. A little strange anyway, especially considering how poor the spa range is in Stockholm.

The first impression is really great. The small courtyard leading to the entrance of the historic old house in which Centralbadet is located is incredibly nice. The whole place is very old school, genuine and authentic. Some details could possibly be freshened up a little, but overall everything is very nice. Likes that you have put some energy on all the roofs around the premises, not least in the changing rooms.

Now we were here in corona times, and I thought it felt quite right with people. I don't know how much they would have cut back on people, but if, for example, there had been twice as many there, it would probably have felt crowded..

The range is good. They probably have 5 different types of saunas - best I liked the steam/aroma variant. There is a hot tub, hot pool, cold bath (which was really cold, coldest I have ever tried), foot baths and of course the gem of the room - the large swimming pool. The latter is really nice. Perfect temperature (always think these indoor pools tend to be a bit too cold).

Took a 50 min sports massage. That's good. The guy who massaged me definitely had some education beyond regular massage. Liked that he kept telling us what he was doing and why, how the body's muscles are connected, etc.

Coming back!
