I have had lunch here and thought it was very good! However, it was probably one of the most expensive lunches I have eaten, I can think the price was a bit on the high side! This old classic restaurant is exactly what you think it should be. Interior in old style, a little dark murky, cozy booths in the same style as Tranan, Kvarnen and Pelikan. However, incredibly noisy and it was almost difficult to hear what the rest of the company said. The service was questionable, a bit messy and the whole feeling is that they try to be a little finer than they really are. Would rather have had it a little more relaxed and knowledgeable staff, than as it was now: very rigid and messy staff.
I took a Biff Rydberg. The first one I ever ate (not my first choice) but was persuaded by the rest of the company because it would be so good. I don't have anything to compare with, and of course it was good. Nice meat, good potatoes, good accessories. But it cost 400 SEK and it is absolutely not, under any circumstances worth. If it had cost 250 SEK it would have been a different location, more reasonable that I would go back and eat it again. But the flavors certainly didn't live up to that price.
So, if you had money left over you want to spend, go to Prince and a good Biff Rydberg. But my tip if you come here is to try something else. At least I'd do that again/when I go back.
