The Mayflower

Named after the ship that carried the pilgrims to America in 1620, The Mayflower is an authentic pub on the banks of the Thames. The interior is dim yet splendid, done in dark wood, lit by candlelight and with walls covered in photos, and there's a riverside terrace to take full advantage of the location. They do all the classic pub grub, from scotch eggs to fish 'n' chips, and a nice selection of wines and beers. If you can prove a family connection to the original pilgrims, you can even sign their Descendants Book.
